Royal fans have been taking guesses at who'll be in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's bridal party since they got engaged, and actress Priyanka Chopra is high up in the contenders list. But will the Quantico star, who is good friends with the Suits actress, actually be a bridesmaid on her big day?

Chopra has addressed the speculation, but in the most vaguest way possible. 'If you see me there, you'll know,' she teased to Harper's BAZAAR Arabia.

Though we're hoping to see Chopra in the bridal party, there's a big chance we won't, simply due to royal tradition. 'Most royal brides do not have adult bridesmaids,' royalty expert Marlene Koenig told Town & Country. 'It would be unusual for a royal bride to have a woman in her late 30s as a maid or matron of honour.'

However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge broke this rule during their 2011 nuptials when Prince Harry served as William's best man, and Pippa Middleton was Kate's maid of honor. Considering Harry and Meghan's tendency to break royal protocol, it's likely they'll stretch the rules on their wedding day, too. It's even rumored that the bride-to-be has already chosen a maid of honor.

Though Chopra stayed tight-lipped about the upcoming ceremony, she opened up about how her friend and future duchess will help modernize the British monarchy.

'I don't think anybody else would be able to do it the way she will. She's just right for it,' she said of Markle. 'She's an icon, truly, that girls can look up to, that women can look up to. She's normal, she's sweet, she's nice, she thinks about the world, wants to change it and this was even before any of this happened.'

Markle, who is biracial, an American actress, and a vocal activist on feminism and race, is changing what it means to be royal today. Chopra thinks her addition to the royal family 'is a big step in the direction of so many things; of women, of feminism, of diversity, of race, of the monarchy versus everyone else.'
