As a self-proclaimed yogi, Pilates Platinum expert, and a meditation devotee, we have a feeling Meghan Markle won't have a problem feeling body confident on her upcoming wedding day.

However, despite her love for intense vinyasa yoga (occasionally in candlelight, we might add) and working on her core strength, it's refreshing to here the former Suits star isn't as much of a natural gym bunny as we originally thought.

The bride-to-be previously opened up to US Weekly about her motivation when it comes to breaking a sweat and, let's just say, her motto could just be the only thing getting us through hitting the cross trainer this evening.

'There was an old episode of The Cosby Show where Clair Huxtable was trying to lose weight to fit into a dress,' the 36-year-old told the publication.

'Debbie Allen is her trainer, and she literally says, "You've got to burn it to earn it. You've got to sweat it to get it!"

'It's the cheesiest thing in the world I know, but if I'm on the treadmill thinking I don't want to be there, I just go, "Think of Clair Huxtable — you've got to burn it to earn it!".

In the past, Markle has credited her svelte physique to regular Pilates Platinum classes with her personal trainer/BFF, (and now potential bridesmaid), Heather Dorak.

'You keep coming back for several reasons: first off, your body changes immediately…give it two classes and you will see a difference; second, Heather is amazing — as an instructor, as a friend, she is inspiring in every way; lastly, the people in class are cool, unpretentious, and motivating…and that is a testament to Heather's energy.'

According to Pilates Platinum's website, the exercise is 'dedicated to creating a fun and energising workout that is a journey for the mind, body and core'.

Over the years, the now London-based star has regularly shared her top tips to working out.

'My health, my state of mind, the feeling you have after a workout; all of this things drive me to step onto my mat or go to the gym,' Markle told Women's Health.

'Sometimes the idea of working out sounds absolutely dreadful, but I always remind myself of how good it will feel afterward. Euphoric, almost!'

We hear you, Megs.

With just four months to go until her wedding day on 19 May at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, we have a feeling the Californian-beauty will be hitting up some of London's exclusive gyms to get her feeling toned for the big day.

In an interview with Women's Health, the bride-to-be previously admitted: 'I'm eager to come to the UK to do a workout with Russell [Bateman], the founder of SBC. My friend Millie Macintosh raves about his workouts, so I'll call her up to do a class together next time I'm back in London.'

We have a feeling Markle will be in great company when it comes to working out before her nuptials.

Pippa Middleton reportedly enrolled into a three-month 'strict bridal body boot camp' at the Grace Belgravia health club ahead of her wedding last year and Prince Harry is regularly spotted visiting his gym in Chelsea.

Remember ladies and gentlemen: 'You've got to burn it to earn it. You've got to sweat it to get it!'
