Kylie Jenner kept her pregnancy as hidden as she could from the public, never confirming it until after she gave birth in February. Family members refused to comment on it for months. There was meticulous coordination and planning put into this secret-keeping, a source told Entertainment Tonight. The family has 'really limited who is around Kylie during this pregnancy. They were strategic about not being photographed and strategic about who they told.'

'They told no one,' the source continued. 'They kept the news very private, only immediate family knew. They didn't start a text chain with family and friends until after Kylie made the announcement.'

When Jenner gave birth on February 1st, 'she likely used a decoy car [to get to the hospital], something the Kardashians have done a lot when trying to avoid being followed or photographed,' the source said. 'They enforced the legal rights of patients—it's against the law to release information about patients to the public, Kris no doubt would have made sure they upheld their responsibilities to their patient.'

Jenner enjoyed her time out of the spotlight, the source said, and plans to 'definitely be very hands-on and will rely on family for support, not outside help,' with raising her daughter Stormi Webster.

Jenner explained in her birth announcement post to her fans that she needed her pregnancy journey to be private. 'I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how,' she wrote. 'There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.'
