Rachel Crooks claims that in 2005, when she was a 22-year-old receptionist at a company housed in Trump Tower, the then-real estate mogul forcibly kissed her on her cheeks and then moved to her mouth. Though she first came forward in 2016, she again shared her story in a Monday Washington Post article, which appears to have prompted Trump's tirade.

In her own tweet, she fired back at the president.

Earlier this month, Crooks announced her bid for the Ohio state legislature, which was sparked by Trump's election. "I think my voice should have been heard then, and I'll still fight for it to be heard now," she told Cosmopolitan at the time. "Americans are really upset with politics as usual, and I want to be a voice for them."
