Bella Hadid just did what any sister would do in the wake of Gigi's breakup with her boyfriend of two-plus years, Zayn Malik: Unfollow the dude on Instagram, obviously.
Bella was following Zayn on Tuesday, right before Gigi and Zayn confirmed their split with joint Twitter statements. Today, he's no longer on Bella's follow list:
Gigi still follows him, though.
The model stressed in her Twitter statement that the two will remain friends. 'I'm forever grateful for the love, time, and life lessons that Z and I shared,' she wrote. 'I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for. As for the future, whatever's meant to be will always be.'
Zayn does not follow Gigi, Bella, or their mother Yolanda. Fans noticed weeks ago that Zayn unfollowed Bella, which may indicate when the breakup really happened. (The Sun reported it was earlier this month, though Zayn and Gigi didn't confirm the exact timing.)
Some believe that Bella's Instagram of herself on March 13 with the caption, 'I'll be Right here' is a dig at Zayn...if you buy her wording is a reference to Zayn's 'Dusk Till Dawn' lyric, "Baby I'm right here/I'll hold you when things go wrong.' Maybe? Sure!
Mama Hadid, Yolanda, has also been extra supportive for Gigi. Yesterday, whe was photographed bringing coffee to her daughter's New York apartment.
And a man was seen bringing in a couple giant balloons for Gigi, too. Among them appears to be a rainbow unicorn and a giant, smiling sun.
