Both of Banks' sons, Felix and Mangus, were born via surrogates. After Mangus' birth, Banks wrote about the experience on her website.

"Like Felix, Magnus was born via gestational surrogate. This experience has exceeded all expectations, taught us a great deal about generosity and gratitude, and established a relationship that will last a lifetime," she wrote. "I am also so very thankful to our family and friends for their support throughout this process, as well as the Center for Surrogate Parenting for helping make all this possible."

The couple welcomed their fraternal twins, Harper and Gideon, in 2010. Harris described the surrogacy process during a 2001 interview with People.

"We found an egg donor anonymously through a hilarious process of looking at people's profiles and then an amazing surrogate who had helped a same-sex couple before," he said. "And then we inserted two eggs, one with my sperm, one with David's sperm and they both took."

The couple's daughters, Winnie and Frances, were born via surrogates. In 2013, Fallon opened up about their decision to keep their surrogacy journey private.

"We tried before, we told people and then it didn't happen. And it's just really depressing. It's really hard on everybody," he explained during an interview with TODAY. "We said, 'We're not going to tell anybody.' It'd be just more fun if it's just private between me and my wife. And then we get to introduce her to everybody."

Amy introduced her daughter, Flora, to the world on Instagram and shared some kind words for her surrogate.

"One month ago today, Dec. 26th our amazing beautiful daughter came into this world," she wrote. "Feeling so grateful to have her in my arms... after years of fertility struggles I give thanks today to our kind, loving surrogate for carrying her. 🙏🏼✨🌸 "

Brewster welcomed her son, Rowan, via surrogate in 2016.

"For me it wasn't a choice," she explained to Yahoo Parenting. "I needed to use a surrogate."

The late singer's third child, Prince Michael Jackson II (who was nicknamed "Blanket" and now goes by Bigi), was born in 2002 with the help of a surrogate.

The couple decided to use a surrogate after trying to adopt. They used the same surrogate for both their sons, Zachary and Elijah.

"We decided to go the surrogacy route and have children of our own. The dominoes fell very quickly," John told T Magazine in October 2016. "We had Zachary 6 years ago in December and then Elijah 4 years ago in January. It was only through fate, really."

The couple welcomed their second daughter, Faith, via surrogate in 2010.

"No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier," they said in a statement.

The couple welcomed twins Bronwyn Golden and Slater Josiah in 2006.

"I was devastated when it didn't happen [again and again]," Bassett told Oprah in 2007 of the couple's years of trying to conceive a child. "The more we learned about [surrogacy], the more we began to think that perhaps this was an answer for us."

The Grey's Anatomy star and her husband welcomed baby Sienna in 2014 but kept the pregnancy a secret until two months after she was born.

"I've done it before. The covert thing is kind of fun. This baby was born via surrogate, so I felt an obligation to keep the surrogate's privacy. That was of utmost importance to me," she explained on Jimmy Kimmel.
