Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian exchanged vows in New Orleans in late November, after announcing their engagement in December 2016. The couple welcomed a daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., almost three months prior to their wedding. Their star-studded wedding was Beauty & The Beast themed, and Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Kim Kardashian and Ciara were only some of the notable names on the guest list.
Kate Upton & Justin Verlander
Supermodel Kate Upton and World Series winner Justin Verlander tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Italy this November. The couple's picture-perfect Tuscan ceremony, orchestrated by BAZAAR Top Planner, Lisa Vorce, and photographed by BAZAAR Top Photographer KT Merry, came complete with sprawling florals and a stunning custom Valentino wedding gown.
Lisa Bonet & Jason Momoa
The Game of Thrones actor wed longtime girlfriend Lisa Bonet this fall, after over ten years of togetherness. The couple share two children, ages 10 and 8, and wed in an intimate, hush-hush ceremony with family and friends. Momoa revealed to People just weeks after their secret nuptials that he hoped their ceremony would have remained a secret, but that the story was leaked. He also mentioned that it was more a ceremony to celebrate their love rather than to make it official–the actor has referred to Bonet as his wife throughout their almost twelve years together.
Keyshia Ka'oir & Gucci Mane
Hip-hop artist Gucci Mane wed Keyshia Ka'oir in a 1.7 million dollar wedding in Miami–so extravagant that the couple needed a sword to cut into their 10-foot tall wedding cake. The couple's nuptials featured a "diamonds and crystals" theme, and guests, which included Lil Yachty, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Monica, Big Sean and Jhene Aiko and Sean "Diddy" Combs, were all asked to wear white.
Kacey Musgraves & Ruston Kelly
These country singers married on October 14th in Tennessee after getting engaged last Christmas Eve while visiting Kacey's family. Kelly proposed in Musgraves' childhood bedroom, and the couple wed in a woodland, barefoot ceremony amongst family and friends.
Alicia Vikander & Michael Fassbender
Talk about an A-list power couple. Oscar winner Alicia Vikander wed Academy Award nominee Michael Fassbender in a secret, intimate ceremony this past October in Ibiza. The couple, who wed in a beachfront ceremony, first met on the set of The Light Between Oceans in 2014, and were first rumored to be dating later that year. The two have since kept their relationship private; to this day, they only make rare appearances on the red carpet as a couple.
Julia Stiles & Preston J. Cook
The Ten Things I Hate About You actress wed now-husband Preston Cook in a Labor Day weekend ceremony on the beach in Seattle, with a small group of family and friends. The couple, who welcomed a son named Strummer on October 20th, announced their nuptials on Instagram with a witty caption, "who doesn't love a shotgun wedding?!" The couple got engaged on Christmas Eve of 2015 after meeting on the set of Go With Me, where Cook was working as a camera assistant.
Idina Menzel & Aaron Lohr
The Frozen actress and singer wed actor Aaron Lohr in late September after their 2016 engagement. The couple met while filming the 2005 film adaptation of Rent, but only began dating ten years later. The couple wed at their home, and the bride was walked down the aisle by her father and her 7 year-old son, Walker, whom she shares with actor Taye Diggs.
Arizona Muse & Boniface Verney-Carron
Model Arizona Muse wed her longtime boyfriend in London this past summer, wearing a minimal gown and overcoat by Temperley. The couple shared numerous photos of their special day on their personal Instagram accounts, calling the wedding "the most beautiful day." Muse commented that "it was exactly as I had been told it would be, the happiest day of my life."
Laura Gallacher & Russell Brand
The British comedic actor married longtime partner, Laura Gallacher, in an intimate ceremony in England in late August. The quintessentially British ceremony was said to be capped off with an Indian-themed reception. The two share a 9-month old daughter, Mabel. This is Brand's second marriage; he was previously married to Katy Perry. The two divorced 14 months after a lavish 2010 wedding in India.
Bianca Balti & Matthew McRae
Model Bianca Balti met her husband while on vacation in Marbella, Spain. He was living there at the time, and a year later he proposed in Southern California. The couple wed at the Ranch at Laguna Beach in an intimate ceremony this past August; Balti's bridal party included her two daughters, Mathilde and Mia. Balti walked down the aisle toward McRae, a sober coach, in a Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda gown, fitting given her years serving as one of the key faces for the Italian house.
Kate Mara & Jamie Bell
Kate Mara and Jamie Bell met on the set of The Fantastic Four, and wed this past July. The couple announced their nuptials on Kate's Instagram, with a photo of the two of them kissing on the dance floor. Mara simply captioned the photo with the word "nuptials." Bell re-grammed his wife's post soon after, echoing her simplicity with the caption "Mr. and Mrs. B."
Julianne Hough & Brooks Laich
The actress, dancer and Dancing with the Stars judge married hockey player Brooks Laich this summer in an outdoor wedding in Idaho this past summer. The couple shared the details of their 200-person wedding with People. Hough wore two custom Marchesa gowns for the occasion–one simple, strapless A-line gown which she wore down the aisle, and another beaded, semi-sheer sheath which she wore to their lakeside reception.

The 600-person guest list included a roster of young royals from all over Europe along with a bevy of socialites and the global elite, but the wedding also stood out in history after Prince Ernst-August V, the groom's father and brother-in-law to Monaco's Prince Albert, publicly announced his disapproval of the couple's union over disputes regarding the family estate.

Ally Hilfiger walked down the aisle toward Steve Hash in a gown designed by her father this past summer. The couple, who married on the beach in Mustique, share a daughter, Harley. The two got engaged in July 2016 on a trip to Paris with a ring that the groom designed.
Jessica Chastain & Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo
Jessica Chastain wed Passi de Preposulo after five years of dating in the groom's hometown of Treviso, just a short drive north of Venice.
