For most of us, celebrating a friend's birthday involves buying a last-minute Colin the Caterpillar cake, a bottle of bubbly and a terrifying Uber receipt the next morning.
But, for Ariana Grande's friends the only way to celebrate the singer's 23rd birthday was with a Harry Potter-themed music video.
But, of course.
The Harry Potter-obsessed singer shared the birthday video on her Instagram, thanking her friends for going to so much effort to celebrate her big day.
'Wow my friends know me so damn well.
'Thank you for the most ridiculous, most amazing, campest birthday gift,' she wrote.
In the video, her friends are seen wearing full Gryffindor getup and rap Harry Potter-inspired lyrics such as: 'It's your birthday, it's your month, let's get Harry Potter drunk,' and 'Dobby pull up with that ratchet, Ari hit 'em with the magic.'
The My Everything singer also celebrated her birthday with her former Victorious co-stars from the hit Disney show that launched Grande's budding singing career.
