Harry Styles Reportedly Signs £60 Million Record Deal

A Harry Styles album is on the cards, but which direction will he go in?

Listen up, Directioners.

Harry Styles has reportedly just signed a solo record deal worth an impressive £60 million.

According to Hits Daily Double, the Steal My Girl singer has signed a record contract with Columbia records which manages the likes of Beyoncé, Calvin Harris and Little Mix.

Apple is said to have offered just £18 million for one album but Columbia came back with an offer the 22-year-old just couldn't refuse.

The news might come as a surprise to 1D fans as the boys have promised they'll be returning from their hiatus in the next year.

And it would seem Harry has been busy of late.

He's recently featured in Christopher Nolan's upcoming WWII film Dunkirk, starring Peaky Blinders actors Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy.

While it's yet to be confirmed when we'll be able to get our hands on a Styles single, we can't help wonder which musical direction he'll go in:

1. Ballad crooner

Harry has revealed that Bublé's 2011 autobiography Onstage had a major impact on his life. Like the Canadian Singer, Styles is known for having a legion of devoted female fans but will the 1D star be crooning his way to the Top 10 with songs about love?

2. Guitar hero

Best friends Styles and Ed Sheeran have tattooed each other and co-wrote 1D's Little Things together. The Kiss You star also knows how to play the guitar (thanks to lessons from band member Niall) so can we expect another Brit singer/songwriter on our hands?

3. Rolling Stones rocker

Look at Styles and you'd be forgiven for mistaking him for a young Mick Jagger.

The singer is set to play the Stones star in an upcoming film about the Rolling Stones' 1972 album Exile. Will the Stones inspire in his new album.

4. Country singer

He's dated one of the biggest country pop star singers in the world (ahem, Taylor Swift) and has openly admitted his love for country music singer Kacey Musgraves. If anyone sees Hazza in Nashville any time soon, you know it's happening.

5. Rapper's delight

Harry reportedly once fangirled at Wiz Khalifa, telling him he'd love to do a collaboration, and knows TLC's Waterfalls off by heart. Does Zayn have some competition in the world of R&B?

Place your bets, now.
