Jennifer Lopez Teams Up With Hamilton Star For Orlando Benefit Song

The singers have written and recorded a song to raise funds for victims in the wake of the Orlando shooting

Pair one international Latino superstar with an award-winning Broadway actor and what do you get?

Musical magic.

And that's why Jennifer Lopez and Hamilton rapper Lin-Manuel Miranda have teamed up to make a benefit song for the victims of the Orlando nightclub shooting, of whom 95 per cent were Latino.

On Tuesday, the Jenny From The Block singer tweeted behind-the-scenes footage to promote their song Love Make The World Go Round

The Hamilton creator and star can be seen in the video rapping: 'What we got is love, even when the sinners hate us. We cannot let 'em diminish or intimidate us.

'We sing out. We got the rhythm and truth on our side. We cut through the divide and we do it with pride.'

The song's official release date is still unknown but all money raised will go towards the Hispanic Federation's Proyecto Somos Orlando fund which plans to address the long-term needs for mental health services.

On 12 June, 49 people were killed and 53 injured when Islamic terrorist Omar Mateen began firing shots at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida.
