The Night Manager star is a true method actor and has actually been roped in to create the most elaborate music video of all time.
And, if the first picture of the pair cuddling up on Instagram is anything to go by, it looks like they might have roped in writer/director Nicholas Sparks.
Famous for The Notebook, The Longest Ride, Safe Haven and Dear John, Nicholas Sparks' novels and films are recognisable for their next-to-impossible love stories (usually uptown girls falling for rural boys), soppy kissing scenes and schmaltzy endings.
It wouldn't be the first time Tay has called on her friends to feature in a music video.
