There's many a time we've said 'You know who would make a great President? Dolly Parton'.
And finally, our prayers have been answered.
Yesterday, the Queen of Dollywood took to Facebook to clarify she is neither giving her support to Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton nor Republican candidate Donald Trump.
The statement follows an interview with the New York Times in which the 70-year-old star said: 'I think Hillary's very qualified. So if she gets it, I'll certainly be behind her.'
In the Facebook post, the blonde-haired bouffant-crowned singer also suggested she might run for presidency.
'I might as well just run myself 'cause I've got the hair for it, it's huge, and they could always use more boobs in the race,' she said.
While the country-star might have been joking, we couldn't agree more.
Just what would she call her party?
The Dollyites? The Dolly Part'ners? The Dollicans?
Dolly for President – this is what dreams are made of.
