Picture the scene.
You've been on a car journey for hours and you decide to take a pit-stop at the side of the road to stretch your legs.
The weather is beautiful, the scenery is breathtaking and you're surprisingly having a 'Good Hair Day' – the perfect excuse for a selfie.
But just when you find that perfect angle, a mini tornado descends and completely ruins your picture. But, you're adamant your selfie will not be ruined.
It. Will. Not.
Now, imagine you're Shakira (the dream) and this unfortunate moment is being filmed by your boyfriend.
Yesterday, the Columbian singer posted a video – filmed and narrated by Spanish footballer Gerard Piqué – to Instagram, showing her struggling to take a selfie.
She captioned the image: 'What us girls have to go through to get a selfie.'
During the recording, Pique can be narrating the selfie debacle, commenting: "She's trying to take a photo, I've been here for half an hour already in the car waiting as she takes a picture.'
He then goes on to critique her selfie pose before Shakira notices she's being filmed and tells him: 'Don't make fun of me.'
Despite her selfie woes, the Hips Don't Lie singer looks to have captured the perfect shot.
She is Shakira, after all.
