Is that a chorus of angels we hear?
Nope it's Ryan Gosling singing to Emma Stone in the trailer for 'La La Land'.
The actor sings City of Stars in the new preview, and you can even download his dulcet tones on iTunes now.
The film reunites Stone and Gosling for the first time since 2013's Gangster Squad.
Set in modern-day Los Angeles, Gosling plays Sebastian, a jazz pianist who falls for aspiring actress Mia, played by Stone, and tracks their struggles to build a relationship against the tough background of the glittering Hollywood movie scene.
It's directed by Damien Chazelle, the Oscar-nominated writer-director of Whiplash, which saw J.K. Simmons pick up a best Supporting Actor Oscar in 2015.
Slated as a contemporary take on the old-school Hollywood musical, with Stone and Gosling's duo inspired by Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire, it looks pretty magical from the trailer.
It will open the Venice Film Festival on August 31st, and hit cinemas at the end of the year. We sniff an Oscar.
