Doppelgängers Amy Adams And Isla Fisher Finally Co-star In Film

Tom Ford's second feature film is finally putting an end to the conspiracy

Question: Have you ever seen Amy Adams and Isla Fisher in the same room?

Well, unless you're an A-list celebrity the answer is probably 'no' but how else are we meant to emphasise just how alike these two actresses look?

And it looks like we're not the only one to mistake them for twins.

For Tom Ford's second feature film, Nocturnal Animals (out later this year), the designer has cast Fisher and Adams to star alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Armie Hammer.

Based on the novel Tony and Susan, the film centers on a married woman (Adams) who receives her ex-husband's manuscript (Gyllenhaal) in the post and discovers it's a crime thriller that's scarily similar to their relationship.

And according to Ford, Fisher 'represents Amy's character' in the story-within-a-story.

We don't think we've ever wanted a film to reach awards season so much just so we can finally find out if they're secretly the same person.
