Celebrities Unite To Perform 'Fight Song' For Hillary Clinton

Elizabeth Banks, Eva Longoria, Jaime King and more sing a cappella song in support of the Democratic nominee

Yesterday concluded day two of Democratic national convention – a day that saw Hillary Clinton become the first woman to be nominated for US president, Bill Clinton deliver a gushing speech about his wife and Lena Dunham mock the Republican nominee ('I am Lena Dunham and according to Donald Trump is probably a 2').

So how do you top off one of the most historic moments in US political history?

End on a song, of course. But not just any song, a cappella performed by celebrities.

At the end of the convention in Philadelphia actress Elizabeth Banks – star, director and producer of Pitch Perfect 2 – introduced the video of Rachel Platten's Fight Song sang by celebrities, much to the shock of Clinton supporters.

The song saw appearances from the likes of Idina Menzel, Jaime King, Jane Fonda, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Nikki Reed, Sheryl Crow, Sia as well as the cast of Pitch Perfect

While some of the performances were less than pitch perfect (sorry, Fonda) we think it ended Hillary's winning Democratic National Convention on the perfect note.
