Cast your mind back to last year when Adele infiltrated a group of her own impressionists by pretending to one herself for a BBC special all about the Make You Feel My Love star.

But if you didn't get goosebumps when the group of impersonators finally realised it was their musical icon, then Adele's most recent antics definitely will.

During a show in Seattle on Monday, the Hello singer spotted lookalike fan Kristie Champagne (real name Kristopher Zello) in the crowd before gestering him to join her on stage.

'You look so amazing. I actually really like your dress!' complimented the 28-year-old singer who wore a similar sequined dress.

Overwhelmed with meeting his idol, Champagne told the singer he was wearing a handmade gown especially for the concert and said: 'You seriously changed my life for the better'.

Champagne later tweeted about the encounter to say, 'Dreams do come true.'
