When you're dating an A-list musician, it would be easy to get caught up in their superstar alter egos, the red carpet parties and celebrity entourages.
But for Bella Hadid, the only person she has eyes for is Abel Tesfaye, commonly known to the rest of the world as Canadian singer The Weeknd.
In a recent interview with American Glamour, the 19-year-old model gushes about her relationship with the Can't Feel My Face vocalist, who she went public with at the 2016 Grammys in February.
'It was a big night for him. He has worked so hard, and he did so well that night. As a girlfriend I wanted to be there to support him. Seeing him so happy when he won a Grammy made me so happy,' she said.
But the Californian beauty was quick to point out that she's in love with the man behind the music, not his stage persona.
'I'm dating Abel. I don't see him as The Weeknd. I'm proud of The Weeknd and the music he makes, but I really love Abel,' she added.
Bella – who fronts J.W.Anderson's AW16 campaign – also revealed she thinks about her boyfriend during photo shoots to help her focus.
'You have to have emotion in your eyes; you don't want to look dead. [Laughs.] I listen to music. I think about my boyfriend,' she said.
The model also took the opportunity to speak about the other great love of her life – her big sister Gigi.
'We're definitely a lot more similar than people think. We have the same voice, the same mannerisms. Sometimes we'll finish each other's sentences, or we'll be the only people laughing. We've always been close,' she said.
However, despite their enviable wardrobes and jet set lifestyles, the youngest Hadid sister revealed her and Gigi enjoyed a far more rural childhood.
She said: 'As kids, especially on weekends, our mum would drive us to the barn at 6:30 A.M., and we would spend the day together riding our horses, and washing and cleaning them.'
Bella and Gigi, if you fancy adopting another sister anytime soon you know where we are.
