If you needed yet another reason for wanting to marry Prince Harry and have the Duke and Duchess for in-laws, here it is.

This afternoon, the trio released a video wishing good luck to Team GB ahead of the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympic Games in Rio kicking off tomorrow.

With 366 British athletes competing across 23 sports in this year's Games, Prince William congratulated Britain on its passion for sport and coming together back in 2012 for the London Olympic Games.

In the video – posted by Kensington Palace – the Duke and Prince Harry urge the country to cheer on the British athletes in the up-coming games as they attempt to better the 47 medal achievement won in the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008.

'We cannot wait to cheer on our athletes this time in Rio,' says Prince William.

'We can't wait to watch everyone compete. Good luck,' added a proud Duchess.

'Let's top 2012, Bring on the great,' concludes Prince Harry.
