If yesterday's news of Team USA winning gold in the women's gymnastics or Michael Phelp's sassy finger wag to his arch nemesis after winning the 200-meter butterfly didn't entertain us enough, we've got a game of 'spot the Olympic-celebrity lookalike' to keep us going.

And after US archer Brady Ellison was named Leonardo DiCaprio's 'twin' last week, we now have another contender for the doppelgänger crown.

Enter French cycslist Pauline Gerrand-Prevot.

Yesterday, the 24-year-old athlete came 26th in the women's road race final. But despite her disappointing finish (her words, not ours – we can barely lift our feet into bike pedals without pulling a muscle) the athlete is now hitting the headlines for her lookalike appearance to Britain's Kate Middleton.

From the duo's eyes, makeup, dimples, smile and cheeks, you can see why the three-time world champion is being compared to the Duchess.

Despite a difference in hair colour, pop a cycling helmet on the Olympian and you'd be forgiven for thinking it was K-Mind racing on the bike.

While the cyclist might not have won gold in yesterday's competition, she definitely wins gold in the battle of the doppelgänger s.

Every cloud, Pauline…
