Cast your mind back to The Italian Job, Reservoir Dogs and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and you'll notice one thing was missing – women.

Thankfully, director Steven Soderbergh (of Ocean's Eleven and Magic Mike fame) has recruited a flurry of A-list celebrities to star in an all-female spinoff of Ocean's Eleven called Ocean's Ocho.

So far, seven of the eight titular roles have been confirmed including Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter, Awkwafina, Rihanna and Anne Hathaway.

Basically, it's like all of our dreams have come true at once.

Unfortunately, all-female spinoffs of classics don't always make for a successful move for Hollywood (sorry Ghostbusters) and there are many fans of the Ocean's franchise that are unhappy with the new film's casting and have created the hashtag '#FeministAMovie' in protest.

Fortunately, feminists reclaimed the hashtag to highlight the fans' ignorance and the need for Hollywood to change the way they perceive women in film:
