For us mere mortals, pregnancy means elasticated jeans, an excuse to eat a whole bag of family-sized Doritos because of the whole 'eating for two' thing and a chance to nab a seat on the tube during the morning commute.
For celebrities, it's the perfect chance to strip off, rub their baby bump like a mystic ball and pose for the front cover of a magazine.
Potato, potahto.
The latest celebrity to bare all is Blac Chyna (a.k.a Rob Kardashian's fiancé) on the cover of Paper magazine – the same publication which saw Kim Kardashian pose nude in 2014 in attempt to #BreakTheInternet.
The cover – shot by renowned photographer Charlotte Rutherford – sees Chyna clutching her baby bump, wearing an ethereal golden crown, necklace and engagement ring with billowing blonde curls covering her modesty.
Elsewhere in the publication, the mother-of-one poses in an array of white lace collars, fingerless gloves, lace robes and vintage Dior chokers.
She's basically Holly Golightly 2.0
According to E!, the reality star invited her son King Cairo to set but was given a shock when her future sister-in-law Kim also dropped in to give her some words of encouragement ahead of her shoot.
Paper's managing editor Abby Schreiber told E!: 'They were chatting and it was funny because I was at the shoot in L.A. and before I left New York to head out there we thought it would be fun to bring a couple copies of the latest issues of Paper and of course I had to bring a copy of the 'Break the Internet' issue because I just wanted to give them to Chyna and it's kind of funny that Kim actually turned up and low and behold her magazine was on the table.'
In the magazine's accompanying interview, the 28-year-old opened up about her upcoming reality show and what she hopes fans will learn from her candid exposure to day-to-day life with Rob.
'I'm funny and smart, and they'll see me as a mom with several businesses just keeping everything together. I'm looking forward to showing my relationship with Rob, our day to day, our struggles and what we're dealing with, positive and negative,' she said.
'I hope when people think about Blac Chyna, they think of a mogul and entrepreneur, a mother and a badass bitch,' she added.
It would seem Blac is keen to follow in Kim's footsteps (reality star, model, entrepreneur) – interesting given their fraught friendship over the years.
In late 2013, Kim was spotted on numerous occasions spending time with Blac and even invited her and her then-fiancé Tyga to her wedding to Kanye West in Italy.
However, the pair parted ways after Tyga started dating Kim's youngest sister Kylie resulting in a social media war between the Kardashian clan and Tyga's ex.
And you thought your family was complicated.
Despite their differences, it looks like Blac has made her way back in the Kardashian's inner circle after she has been spotted enjoying numerous lunch dates and selfies with Kim during her pregnancy.
