There's A Drake And Rihanna 'Count Down' Website, But Is It Real?

​A mysterious countdown relating to Drake and Rihanna has starting ticking following the rapper's declaration of love for the singer at the 2016 VMAs

After watching Drake declare his undying love for Rihanna during his speech at the VMAs, we thought that was the end to the Drake-Riri surprises – for now at least. 

But on Tuesday, a mysterious website called www.DrakeandRihanna.com appeared online with a clock countdown that ends at midnight (EST) on Friday September 09, making the rumour mill go into overdrive, with everyone guessing what the couple are plotting to do next.

Could a new music collaboration be on the cards?

Are they announcing a joint tour?

Have they flown to Las Vegas and plan to live-stream their wedding at the Little White Chapel, to all of their fans?

Have they decided to unveil a vlog together?

Unfortunately for Dr-ihanna fans (yes, we just made that up but go with it), their representatives have confirmed the site isn't associated with either artist and is in fact a well-timed hoax, created by comedian Joanne the Scammer and creative website Super Deluxe.

Curse you comedy!

Now, instead of a countdown, visitors to the site are greeted by a plain white wall before Joanne the Scamer (wig, fur jacket and all) talks to camera and explains the website has been created so she can lament Drake for not getting a picture with her at the VMAs. Boring, much? 

Okay, so the pair might not be hitting us with another surprise anytime soon (after all, there's only so much love we can handle in one week) so in the meantime, we'll just keep watching this clip on replay:
