If there's one way to make it 'official' with a partner it's by getting a tattoo in memory of them – forever.

Just one week after going public with their amourous display of affection and declarations of love at the 2016 VMA's, Rihanna has had a tattoo of a camouflage shark on her ankle as an ode to Drake.

'A shark? What, because Drake was sharking her for years?' you cry.

No, in fact the shark is reportedly a reference to one of Riri and the One Dance's singers dates to a Toronto aquarium where he bought her a stuffed animal shark.

Yesterday, celebrity tattooist Bang Bang (who has inked the likes of Cara Delevingne and Kylie Jenner) teased fans with a sneak peak of the singer's new tattoo with an Instagram video:
