Well, Beyoncé prefers to blow the candles out by releasing the long-awaited music video for the song 'Holy Up' from Lemonade – the gift that keep on giving.

The singer – who turned 35-years-old on Sunday – released the video to her fans on Youtube with the message, 'Guys thanks for supporting me. Open your surprise.'

In other words she was saying: 'Guys, it's my birthday and seeing as I've been slaying at life for 35 years, I'm going to give you a gift just to show you how Beyonce-awesome I am. You should all bow down in my greatness and shower me with confetti and loveable Tweets because…I'm Queen B'.

And that's exactly what her fans did (without the confetti bit):
