Sia has called upon her her mini-me dancer, Maddie Ziegler, for the video for her new single The Greatest and suffice to say, it's one of the pair's best pieces of work to date.

Today, the Australia hit-maker released the single and accompanying video, featuring the former Dance Mom's reality star showing off her skilled choreography with a troupe of dancers in a derelict house.

Swapping her signature peroxide blonde wig for a Pulp Fiction Mia Wallace-esque chop, Maddie can be seen wiping rainbow tears from her face before helping a group of child dancers escape a cell and run through a house, while breaking into forward-walkovers, leg-hold pirouettes and the 13-year-old's famous varied facial expressions.

The video is the fifth collaborative work between Ziegler and Sia, who first came together for the award-winning single Chandelier in 2014 and subsequently Elastic Heart, Big Girls Cry and Cheap Thrills.

Unsurprisingly, the notoriously private singer doesn't star in filmmaker Daniel Askill's video, nor does rapper Kendrick Lamar, who features on the single.

Last week, Sia posted a short teaser of the single, ahead of the release of her up-coming album We Are Your Children, much in the same guerrilla fashion as Frank Ocean, Beyoncé and Lamar have all done recently to release new music.
