If there are two women who know how to drop a bombshell, it's the Knowles sisters.
After Beyoncé surprised fans by releasing her visual album Lemonade over night back in April, the pressure was on for sister Solange to dream up an inventive way to announce her upcoming album, A Seat At The Table.
So, last week, Solange followed in Queen B's footsteps by posting a cryptic social media post with a picture of herself and a diagram of song titles with the caption: 'I am overwhelmed with gratitude & excitement to share this work I've written and created, with you... #ASeatAtTheTable'
In the days that followed, she continued to tease fans with short clips and pictures from what appeared to be a new music video.
But, yesterday, the biggest surprise of all happened when 86 of her Instagram followers received leather-bound books titled 'A Seat At The Table' to promote the artist's new material.
Inside, pages were printed with lyrics, a tracklist of 12 songs (featuring Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland and Lil Wayne) and images, which can be seen via an incredibly cool digital copy here.
On the back page reads the date '9-30-16', which we presume alludes to the release date of her forthcoming album.
Mark the date in your diaries, people. It's coming.
