Kim Kardashian has been held at gunpoint in Paris, according to police.
At approximately 1.00 GMT this morning, reports claim as many as five masked men 'dressed as police officers' entered the reality star's luxury residence and threatened her at gunpoint before stealing several mobile phones and jewellery.
According to police: 'The loss amounts to several million euros, mostly jewellery. The total amount is still being evaluated', but other reports estimate the loss to be approximately £8 million.
Following the robbery, a spokesperson for the star said: '[Kim] is badly shaken but physically unharmed'. The star's two children North and Saint were not in the hotel room when the incident occurred.
Franceinfo reported that the star's bodyguard had been handcuffed during the incident.
The 35-year-old mother-of-two is currently in the City of Lights to attend Paris Fashion Week along with her mother Kris Jenner and sisters Kendall and Kourtney and was spotted earlier on Sunday attending the Balenciaga show.
Kim's husband Kanye was quickly informed of the incident and left his set early at the Meadows Festival in New York upon hearing the news.
A festival spokesperson later released a statement that read: 'Due to a family emergency, Kanye West was forced to end his performance towards the end of his set. We appreciate the great show he put on for fans to close the inaugural Meadows Festival. Our thoughts are with West and his family.
