Eleven Stranger Things returning to show? | ELLE UK

You fall into two camps when you're addicted to a television series:

1) The Ruiner: You miss an episode but can't help asking friends and colleagues what happened, who left the competition and begging for a quick summary of the 60-minute show for fear of being left out.

2) The Silencer: The slight whisper from someone talking about a missed episode or finale has you putting your hands over your ears and running out of the room like you've just been attacked by a swarm of bees. This reaction normally results in a full ban on talking about the series in the office / your colleagues to genuinely be terrified of you.

Well, those of you who fall into 'the silencer' crowd might want to look away now because we have a sneaking suspicion as to what's in store in Stranger Things Season 2.

Over the weekend, actors Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) and David Harbour (Hopper) attended the New York Comic Con and hinted as to what viewers can expect from the next series.

When asked whether Hopper might adopt Eleven, Harbour was quick to point out that his character wasn't exactly loyal to the young teen after he gave her location to the evil scientists in order to get to the Upside Down.

'We end season 1 with Hopper actually sort of selling Eleven out, right?

Yeah, let's not forget Hopper totally chooses Will over Eleven. But then again, everyone chose Will over Barb so what's new? (RIP Barb).

However, season one does end with Hopper leaving a box of Eleven's favorite snack out in the woods for Millie's character, which makes us think we haven't seen the end of Hopper and Eleven's relationship.

'I will say that there would be a rich emotional arch there for us to explore,' Harbour told fans.

Emotional arch? Talk about the understatement of the year, pal. Your character owes Eleven big time.

Meanwhile, Brown told fans that whatever happens in season two, 'it's going to be incredible.'

Okay, so it's not exactly ground-breaking information from the teenager, but given the fact Millie Bobby Brown has been thrust into the spotlight on the show's promotional tour, is now best friends with the likes of Louis Vuitton's creative director Nicolas Ghesquière and has visited the White House, we have a suspicion the show's creators won't be getting rid of the British actress any time soon.
