'Hello darkness, my old friend. I've come to talk with you again…'

Sorry about that, we're just crying to a bit of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel right now.

Why? Well, Rihanna and Drake have finally called it quits on their romance (again) and our hearts are slowly breaking into tiny pieces. No big deal.

This summer, our 'Drianna' dreams finally came true when Drake proclaimed his undying love for Rihanna at the 2016 MTV VMAs, leading many of us to start imagining their Drianna home in Hollywood, beautiful Drianna babies and living happily ever Drianna after.

But as Adele once said: 'Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead.'

Over the weekend, Drake was spotted watching the Toronto Blue Jays baseball game with model India Love while Rihanna was spotted in Barbados with her family sharing photos and videos on social media of her downtime in her native country.

The notoriously private singer surprisingly took to Instagram to hint at her breakup with the 'One Dance' star to say: 'None of my exes are married or in happy relationships so it's safe to say that I wasn't da problem lol', with a trophy in the caption.

We can understand if things didn't quite work out for the pair (well, sort of) but we're shocked to see Drake moving on so soon after breaking up with the love of his life.

To make matters worse, India's ex-boyfriend is none other than former basketball player and Rihanna's rumored ex Cliff Dixon, who cheated on India to get with the Work singer.

#Awkward.

What a tangled web Drake is weaving.

We still have hope Drake and Riri will get back together.

After all, what else are they going to do with their matching shark tattoos...
