Ever since we saw dancer and singer Teyana Taylor star in Kanye West's Fade video and close his Yeezy Season 4 show, it's given us hope that we too, one day, might be able to boast a dancer's physique and wiggle our thighs across the gym floor.*

(*She says while demolishing her third Lindt chocolate of the day*)

But, now we have another reason to champion the 25 year-old.

In an interview with Paper magazine, the star said that there's no reason why a woman can't have it all.

'You can be superwoman. You can have it all, that balance in your relationship, your family and your career. It's the opposite of the cliché that says kids will slow you or your career down,' the singer explained.

Mother to a 10-month-old daughter called Junie and engaged to NBA basketball player Iman Shumpert, Taylor admitted that it was because of her role as a mother and fiancée that got her the Fade gig with Kanye:

'It was a do-or-die moment where I was like, "I'm going to dance my f*cking heart out." He [Kanye] was like, "It's so dope because y'all so young and y'all fresh, but then y'all got the baby and the championship." I think the part about it that I love the most is that [the video] inspires women to know that you can be superwoman, even with a child.'

The singer – who released the video of her single Champions earlier this summer which saw her wearing nothing but gold leaf on her body – also gushed about her daughter, adding that she had been her 'good luck charm'.

'She's just been everything … From the moment I got pregnant with her to the day she was born, it's been all positives, all greatness, all iconic,' she concluded.

New role model, anyone?
