If you've ever been on a Tinder date, you'll be well-accustomed to the ritual of changing outfits at the last minute, the awkward moment when you realise you've turned up before them, the nervousness at the off-chance they might not turn up and you'll be forced to buy a microwave lasagne for one, instead.

But fear not, because comedian Laura Bubble is proving just how much fun blind dates can be by turning up in a wedding dress, veil and all.

To raise money for the cancer research charity programme 'Stand Up To Cancer', Bubble has been documenting the reactions from her first dates when they realise she's wearing a wedding dress.

From scarpering mid date and asking Laura whether she's been put up to this as a joke by their friends to pretending they're not her date (despite matching the profile picture she's seen), it looks like turning up in a floor-length white gown, veil and carrying a bouquet of flowers in hand isn't the best idea if you're hoping to bag a partner after the first date.
