What do you think of when we say the name 'Diane Von Fürstenberg'?

Vibrant coloured prints?

Wrap dresses?

Former princess?

Well, one things for certain – you won't be seeing DVF sporting a Yeezy hoodie, nude-coloured body-con dress or clear plastic thigh-high boots any time soon, if her recent comments about Kanye West are anything to go by.

During the Women's Wear Daily CEO summit earlier this week, the Belgian-born fashion designer said: 'Things like the Kanye-ization [of fashion], it's okay. It's a moment. It's a thing. He ended up falling on his face so it's fine.'

I mean, we couldn't have put it better ourselves given Yeezy Season 4's disastrous show, what with fainting models, Kanye turning up two hours late and the shoes breaking on models' feet.

However, the businesswoman was keen to point out that while she might not think much of West's talents as a designer, she is a fan of his enthusiasm.

'But the attitude of Kanye West — he's cool so there's something there,' she added.

Well, you can't knock a guy for trying.
