When you've admitted defeat over the remote control on a Saturday afternoon and are forced to endure 90-minutes of profanities yelled at the television screen, it helps that many of the football players you're watching aren't that sore on the eye.

But this seems to be a revelation for Saturday Night Live comedian Leslie Jones, as the Olympic Games enthusiast spent her entire Sunday live tweeting the Major League Soccer Playoffs and couldn't help notice how good looking the players were.

It all started last week when Jones spotted photos of Seattle Sounders and Arsenal players in the buff, albeit with a football to cover up their nether regions.

Clearly intrigued by their athletic physiques, Jones decided to launch an investigation into the sport – you know, all professional of course – and decided it was the perfect opportunity to find a new boyfriend.

Ever the sports enthusiast, Jones asked her Twitter followers to help her understand the sport. After all, if her future boyfriend is going to be a soccer player, she needs to know the rules.

However, it looks like her mind was completely blown when she learned more about the popular sport.

Anyway, that's beside the point...

But, it's not just the players that Jones has her eyes set on:

The American star was also taken aback by the general aesthetic on screen.

Clearly enamored with her newfound sporting heroes, the Ghostbusters star seemed to have forgotten she was meant to be cheering for one team.

Although, her confusion didn't seem to last long.

Right, The New York Red Bulls and NYCFC are competing in the playoff games this weekend – someone get her to the stadium with a microphone, stat.
