Ben Affleck's Son Might Have Caught A Cold From Prince George And He's Not Impressed

With the up-coming presidential election about to take place Stateside, it's safe to say tensions are running pretty high between the US and the UK at the moment. After all, Americans won't only be deciding the fate of their own country, but the rest of the world's.

So, the last thing we need is a high profile incident to the rock the boat. Say, a contagious cold, for example.

Well, that's exactly what happened earlier this year when Ben Affleck's son reportedly caught a cold from none other than little Prince George.

Yup, this happened.

In an appearance on The Graham Norton Show – which airs tonight – the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice actor explained that when his family were living in London this summer, his four-year-old son Samuel ended up attending a playdate with the future Kind of England.

'I noticed this weird vibe from the other grownups. They were all very well dressed and had earpieces and I thought, 'For a kids' place this is tight security!' I was the very last person to realize that Prince George and Princess Charlotte were playing with my kid,' Affleck explained.

However, the Oscar-winning actor/director also realised that shortly after his son's royal encounter, he soon developed a bout of the sniffles which Affleck is convinced was passed on from George.

'I can now tell [Sam] that he got a cold from the King of England!' Affleck joked.
