When you're a kid, you can pretty much get away with anything:

  • Wearing animal onesies without adults questioning your sanity
  • Falling asleep at the dinner table and it being found 'cute'
  • Randomly yelling at anyone, about anything, anywhere
  • Crawling through the playground tubes at McDonald's without getting stuck
  • Not wearing pants because you like the freedom

Oh yeah, and indulging in sweets. Because as we all know, kids love sweets – Hubba Bubba, Skittles, Flying saucers – unless you're Gisele Bündchen's brood, that is.

At an appearance at the grand opening of the Under Armour Boston Brand House in the Prudential Centre on Wednesday evening, the supermodel mother-of-two explained her children weren't really bothered about having sweets on Halloween.

'We don't really have that kind of sugar in our house,' she told People.

Bündchen, who shares 6-year-old Benjamin and 3-year-old Vivian with football extraordinaire Tom Brady, shared a picture of the family's 'trick or treat' outing, which showed her son dressed as Mario and Gisele as Luigi.

However, it sounds like her little ones didn't have much time to enjoy their sweet collection. After all, their mum has infamously banned white flour, caffeine, olive oil, iodized salt, dairy, nightshade vegetables and white sugar from their home.

Explaining what happened to her children's Halloween haul, the former Victoria's Secret model revealed: 'I let them try one [piece], but they really only had one bite and then they didn't want it anymore.'

'So I told them if they didn't like it I was going to give it away to other kids and they actually let me give their candy away,' she continued.

Wow, fun times in the Brady Bündchen household…
