You know when you're scrolling through social media and spot an old friend posting cryptic Facebook statuses or bizarre-looking photos on Instagram and you're thinking, 'you okay, hun?'

Well, we just had this moment when we spotted Kanye West's Instagram account this morning.

Despite joining Instagram back in September and sharing a screenshot image from the film Total Recall, West has been pretty M.I.A from the photo sharing platform until yesterday, when he posted 99 horrifically cropped, blurry images from vintage Maison Margiela collections.

From product shots of shoes and blurred-out faces of models to hazy-looking catwalk runway images, it's clear Kanye hasn't fully learned how to use Instagram quite yet.

Look Kanye, start with a quirky filter like Ludwig or at least learn how to hold a camera steady.

To be honest, we're not quite sure what Kanye was aiming for with this flurry of uploads yesterday.

Director Eli Russell Linnetz – who worked on West's music video 'Fade' – also posted a similar blurry image to his own Instagram on Sunday night with the caption, 'new installation on @kanyewest' which could suggest the pair are working together on a new artistic project.

Who knows, who knows.

Seeing as Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian-West, is the queen of Instagram, we can't imagine she'd be too pleased with these amateur looking snaps.

The bizarre uploads come just one day after West stopped his concert in Sacramento to give the crowd a a 15-minute rant about Beyoncé, Jay Z and Hillary Clinton.
