The day after Thanksgiving is the day of rest and recovery.

It's all salads, and fruit, and....

We're just messing, we know what it's really about: leftovers.

And now the internet has finally blessed us with the ultimate way to make the most of that delicious leftover turkey.

Andrew Rea, clearly an angel from above, has put a tutorial on his YouTube channel, explaining how to create the 'moist-maker' sandwich, so beloved by Ross in Friends.

For those who haven't seen the episode, Ross adores the way his sister Monica makes a turkey sandwich with an extra layer of gravy soaked bread - which he calls the moist-maker, because he's Ross.

In the episode, a teacher Ross works with eats the sandwich and Ross has a nervous breakdown.

But no such bad luck for us, because we can make our own.

Make sure you leave enough time, because you need to 'butterfly' the turkey 24 hours before you cook it (Rea explains it all properly), before you start to add herbs, make the turkey stock, stuffing and cranberry sauce on the day you want to eat it.

Then you have all the separate ingredients and it's just a case of stacking them up: bread, turkey, stuffing cranberry sauce, bread drenched in gravy - the pivotal moist-maker - and then repeat for the sandwich you've been dreaming of.

Exhausting but definitely worth it.
