Ever since we heard that the 1988 film Beaches was getting a remake earlier this year, we've been emotionally (and mentally) preparing ourselves for the heartbreaking tale of CC and Hillary's enduring friendship.
And yesterday, American television channel Lifetime released the new trailer for the upcoming remake, starring Frozen star, Idina Menzel as Cecilia Carol 'CC' Bloom and Nia Long as Hillary Whitney (roles previously played by Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey, respectively).
In the clip, Menzel can be heard belting out her note-perfect vocal skills for a cover of Wind Beneath My Wings as footage of the characters are seen enjoying CC's fame, the birth of Nia's daughter and coming to terms with the devastating news that will test the pair's enviable bond.
Someone grab the tissues, it's going to be 'emosh'.
Beaches premieres on 21st January on Lifetime.
