As the start of another year dawns, people across the world are dreaming up ways of making the most of life in 2017.
For some, this might include saving up for a two-week break with a loved one or a pledge to hit the gym more than twice a year. For others, it might be a commitment to finally stop drinking/smoking/biting nails/swearing*.

But for Kylie Jenner, it looks like her 2017 is going to involve a whole lot of gold lamé, silver lipstick, a candy cane and cat ears.
Look guys, it's Kylie's world and we're just living in it.
To promote her 2017 calendar – shot by fashion photographer Terry Richardson – the 19-year-old reality star-come-make-up-mogul posted a video to Instagram showing fans the behind-the-scenes footage from her shoot.
In the clip, the youngest of the Jenner/Kardashian clan can be seen waving a gold letter 'K' while wearing a matching shiny swimsuit with a gold belt (because who goes swimming these days without a belt, am I right?) before having a powder touch-up while dressed in a Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn-inspired outfit.
Seeing as Suicide Squad was released in 2016 and we presume Kylie is posing in this get up for Halloween 2017 (as did the majority of women this year for the holiday), we're not quite sure where she's going with this. But, who are we to question logic, right?
Next up, the teenager can be spotted wearing silver lipstick, a stars and stripes bikini while waving sparklers (we guess this is for the month of July) and waving a life-size stick of candy cane with a silver wig while showing some serious under-boob (happy holidays!).
At one point she even dons a cap that looks like it's been made out of those colourful magnetic sticks you received on Christmas day as a kid. Side note, a cap is meant to cover your head from external elements. A cap with holes in it doesn't exactly serve the same purpose, but, you know...
Anyway, the video ends with Kylie shaking her blonde extensions before posing in her underwear while leaning on a huge love heart.
Oh, and then she poses on the floor with a python around her neck like Britney circa 2001.
We're not really sure which month the snake is for but we'll go for June. Well, why not?
