She might one day be crowned a Royal Princess but for now, Meghan Markle will have to do with the title of the most Googled actress of 2016.
Best known for her standout role as paralegal Rachel Zane in the US legal drama, Suits, the 35-year-old actress has scored the coveted title in the entertainment world, most probably helped by the fact news broke in October that she's currently dating Prince Harry, with whom she was spotted purchasing a Christmas tree in London earlier this week.
Basically, this means that every Google search about Meghan Markle – who recently penned an emotional essay about finding her voices as a mixed race woman for ELLE – has happened in less than two months.
And yes, that's a lot of searches.
Other names that made the cut on the most popular searched actresses this year include Marion Cotillard (we hope due to her acting career and not false rumors relating to an affair with Brad Pitt) and this year's Academy Award-winning star Brie Larson.
Jenna Dewan Tatum, Leslie Jones and Alicia Vikander also topped the list, with 12-year-old Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown taking 10th place.
