It's a pretty sorry state of affairs when you have to bribe talent managers with ambassadorships in order to hire musicians to play at a Presidential inauguration.

But that's exactly what two talent bookers are claiming President-elect Donald Trump has done in order to bag top singers to perform at his up-coming inauguration on January 20.

According to The Wrap, two anonymous talent bookers claim that Trump's Presidential Inaugural Committee offered them ambassador positions in order to find singers for his big day. Unsurprisingly, they claim to have denied the political roles.

One talent manager explained: 'They said they were in the process of 'figuring out posts, ambassadorships, and commissions' if that was of any interest.'

The other said that he was so surprised at the 'serious' offer that he almost dropped the phone.

'Never in a million years have I heard something so crazy,' he added.

As a result of the claims, Trump's team has denied the allegations and said 'there is no truth to this insinuation'.

Committee spokesperson Boris Epshteyn added: 'First-class entertainers are eager to participate in the inaugural events.'

Er, yeah. We're not so sure on anyone is that keen on performing at this one, Boris.

'The inauguration as a whole will be an exciting and uniting celebration of freedom and democracy,' he concluded.

The news come days after Trump met with his 'great friend' Kanye West to discuss 'multicultural issues' that, according to Kanye, included topics such as bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago.

Surely this news can't be true? But, then again, this is a man who used racism, misogyny and downright lies to become President of the US.

Anything is possible.
