Move over Gigi, Rosie and Karlie. There's a new queen of fashion in town.
And when we say queen we mean the actual Queen of England, Elizabeth II.
To make the end of her 90th birthday year, a new photograph of the Queen has been released taken taken by internationally renowned fashion photographer Nick Knight.
Knight – who has shot album covers for the likes of Lady Gaga and David Bowie and was made an OBE in 2010 – released the image which shows the Queen seated in Windsor Castle's White Drawing Room with her eldest son, and heir to the throne, Prince Charles.
In the image – posted on The Royal Family's Instagram – the longest-reigning British monarch can be seen posing serenely in a turquoise-blue hued dress – with matching pearl earrings and necklace, of course – while Prince William and Harry's father is spotted looking down lovingly at his mother wearing a black suit.
Speaking of the photograph, shot in May this year, Knight said:
'It was a great pleasure and an honour to photograph Her Majesty the Queen and the Prince of Wales at Windsor Castle. I wanted to create a modern portrait that showed warmth and humanity as well as strength and tradition.'
Celebrating over 64 years as Queen, Elizabeth II turned 90 on 21 April and shows no sign of retiring any time soon.
See you on Christmas Day for your annual festive speech, Liz.
