We love a bit of Vin Diesel, the awkwardly alluring star of The Fast And The Furious franchise.

The 49-year-old actor has had us 'aww-'ing over his snaps with daughter Pauline, blubbing over his many tributes to late co-star Paul Walker and generally also finding ourselves strangely hooked on a movie franchise that is by all rights awful, but somehow completely addictive.

Which is why we're a touch dismayed to have discovered this footage of theaction hero acting super, skin-crawlingly creepy towards a Brazilian television host.

Interviewer Carol Moreira had ol' Vinny on her show so that he could talk about (promote) the his new flick, XXX: The Return Of Xander Cage, but instead of answering her questions, the Californian born A-lister repeatedly found himself side-tracked.

Interrupting the flow of the interview to comment on Carol's looks.

'God, you're so beautiful,' he says to her and continues by telling both her and the junket crew staging the interview that he'd like to take her for lunch.

'God she's so beautiful… Am I right or wrong? Look at her,' Vin said, 'How am I supposed to do this interview? Look at this woman. She's so beautiful. Talk to me, baby. Tell me your story. Let's get out of here. Let's go have lunch.'

Watch the interview here:

Despite Carol trying hard to get the interview back on track, Vinny kept steamrolling through the awkward looks with further creepiness, saying: 'Guys, really? Look how beautiful she is. You guys think this is a joke. How am I supposed to sit over here when I'm looking at such beauty? She's so beautiful. I'm in love. I'm in love with the interviewer!'

Vin Diesel, real name Mark Sinclair, has three children with his girlfriend, Mexican model Paloma Jimenez.
