Every woman born in the Eighties and Nineties knows that there's something special about these films: You've Got Mail, When Harry Met Sally and Sleepless In Seattle.
Because they have Meg Ryan in them, that's why.
With her enviably shaggy blonde crop, a talent for pulling at our heartstrings, her expressive face and the ability to look effortlessly beautiful while shouting at a nonplussed Billy Crystal, 'shop girl' Megan Ryan was the quintessential pre-millennium girl we all wanted to be.
Well, prepare to rejoice because, it's just been announced that Ryan is set for a television comeback, as the star in a half-hour comedy series titled, Picture Paris.
Based on the 2011 short film, the series centres on a suburban mother with grown-up children whose dream trip to Paris with her husband turns out to be a travesty.
Ryan – who is best known for her roles on the silver screen – first made a name for herself on television in As the World Turns, almost 30 years ago.
As a result of the star's return to television, we look back at her most iconic moments on screen:
The Fake Orgasm in 'When Harry Met Sally'
Final Meeting in 'Sleepless in Seattle'
'Don't Cry, Shop Girl' in You've Got Mail
Why Men And Women Can't Be Friends in 'When Harry Met Sally'
Dress Shop Scene in 'The Women'
Coffee Shop Moment in 'You've Got Mail'
All hail, the Meg.
