When Serena Williams teased fans on Instagram with a picture of her engagement ring from Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian earlier this week (a ring that sadly turned out to be a plastic taco mounted on a silver band), we must admit – we didn't have high hopes for seeing her actual engagement ring anytime soon.
After all, the newly engaged couple have kept such a low profile of their budding romance over the past year, we didn't even know they were dating.
But, the Williams-Ohanian engagement appears to be the gift that keeps on giving as Serena just shared a phone of her posing alongside beau Alexis, gifting us a glimpse of her sparkly new diamond.
And yes, it's as beautiful and big as you had imagined.
Last night, the world tennis star posted a photo of her standing alongside Ohanian on none other than Reddit, which we're predicting will be the American athlete's favourite social media platform to share details of her up-coming nuptials.
In the post, Serena can be seen cuddling up to her tech entrepreneur fiancé, wearing a white tank top, a black tulle skirt and a pair of kick-ass Nike trainers.
Placing her hand on Alexis' chest, we can't help notice the enormous diamond on her ring finger and the mega-sized smiles on the pair's faces.
