Singing a rendition of the now nearly iconic love song, the video sees Celine looking through old black and white photos of her family with René, sitting on a bed surrounded by polaroid snaps of the pair and crying on her bed while hugging a pillow.

It's a stark and incredibly rare look at what's it's like to lose the love of your life and is sure to touch even the coldest of hearts.

The video comes days after the singer shared a photo of her sons –René-Charles, 15, and six-year-old twins Eddy and Nelson – enjoying happier times over the festive season.

Following the cover's release, Australian singer Sia took to Twitter to send her condolences to the star.

We're sending our thoughts and love to Celine's family at this difficult time.
