St. Vincent is something of a bad-ass.

Last year, she released a guitar that she made for female musicians.

It was smaller, lighter and made space for the player's breasts.

This year, she's released the second collection, in a whole range of colours.

And to promote the line, which will be available for pre-order in March, she posed on the cover of Guitar World wearing a very questionable t-shirt.

But it turns out she was actually saying a massive eff you to the magazine's history of putting half-naked women who have never seen a guitar, let alone held one before, on their cover.

According to The Debrief, she explained her move,

I did a quick Google search of women on the cover, and all I really saw was girls in bikinis holding guitars like they've never held a guitar before," explains Clark. "I started thinking about that and just wanted to make my own absurdist comment on it. I couldn't really let it slide without poking a bit of fun and taking the piss a little!

Bad-ass or what?

Hopefully the magazine takes notice we think the St. Vincent cover is the breast by far.
