Twitter was made for people like J K Rowling.

Whether it's sticking up for Madonna and Mhairi Black, taking down Serena Williams critics, using Slytherin-themed burns in conversations about politics, shutting down Rupert Murdoch and an epic response to someone who couldn't quite cope with the fact that Dumbledore 'looked' gay, the Harry Potter author is a true wizard on social media.

So, spare a second for Rowling's latest victim, Mike Pence, who just received criticism from the author about Donald Trump's executive order on immigration, commonly now known as the 'Muslim ban'.

Woah, that was a long second trying to feel sorry for Mike Pence. Thank Zeus that's over.

Now the United States refugee admissions programme has been suspended for 120 days, people have taken to Twitter to remind Vice President Mike Pence of a tweet he sent back in 2015 regarding banning Muslims from the US.

Oh Pencey, we bet you're regretting that one now, aren't you?

Amid the Twitter universe of angry anti #MuslimBan protesters was J K Rowling, who tweeted Pence's tweet along with a reading from the Bible, highlighting his lack of a soul.

She also took on the US' new policy on immigration that saw 'green card' holders detained in airports across the US earlier this week.

Unsurprisingly, Rowling received a barrage of abuse for using a biblical quote and speaking out against Pence and old Trumpo.

Of course, the 51-year-old had the best response to her haters.

Someone buy the woman a Butterbeer. She deserves it.
