A Twitter handle is imagining what life would be like if Hillary Clinton had won the Presidential election and we're crying with happiness and sadness.

Cast your mind back to the morning of Wednesday 9 November 2016.

Surprising the pollsters, and the rest of the world, this was the day that Donald Trump – yes, that orange-coloured bloke from the US Apprentice – defeated Hillary Clinton to become the 45th President of the US.

In the days that followed, protests broke out across the US against the Trump victory, men and women cried at hearing the inspiring words of Clinton during her concession speech ('to all of the little girls who are watching this, never doubt that you are valuable and powerful and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world to pursue and achieve your own dreams') and we all were left waiting the Trump inauguration.

Let's just say, the world has been on an interesting rollercoaster ever since.

However, what if we told you there's was a world in which Clinton – a.ka. a well-experienced American politician, former US Secretary of State, Senator and feminist – was in office.

Created last month, the Twitter account 'ALT-POTUS 45' is on a mission to create a magical alt-reality, explaining what Hillary might have done if she was now in the Oval Office.

From writing speeches that make sense, asking Bill to visit Whole Foods to pick up some kombucha and sending a group of 'nasty' women to the White House to take care of Trump, to replying to Beyoncé's baby shower and calling Pence a motherf*cker, the tweets detail exactly what could've been.
